Life Drawing Open Studio is facilitated by illustrator Scott McKowen.  A figure drawing studio session takes place every week with a nude model, in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.  Bring your own materials, lots of paper, and conte for gestures, tonal and colour studies.  Warm up poses range from 3, to 5, to 10 minutes, with second and third hour longer poses.  This class is self-directed.

Focus on creating a composition beginning with a continuous contour line.  Stylize natural patterns and textures into lines.  The final project will be a sort of meditative zentangle composition beginning with layered contour line drawings and filled in with intricate patterns and textures.  Supplies provided
