Here are answers to frequently-asked questions: All programs, unless otherwise stated, require pre-registration and payment. Payment may be made using online registration, by phone (with Visa, Mastercard), or in person at the Gallery (credit card, cheque, debit or cash). The Gallery cannot hold a spot in a class without payment. Participants are responsible for knowing the schedule of their registered class. Access to the Gallery and the classroom will be provided 10 minutes prior to the start of each session. Class sizes are set to ensure an optimal experience for each participant. For sold out programs, you may wish to contact the Education Officer to be added to a waiting list, or to the Gallery email list for future classes.

Ages 2-3
SOLD OUTA class specifically designed to nourish and encourage creating art with your child. Exploring a variety of collaborative activities – Creating Together is a clever and inspired introduction to the arts. Parent or guardian participation required. Led by Melissa Quinn.

Ages 3-5
SOLD OUTA singular colour each week is the focus and inspiration for art making in this unique mixed-media class. Working with colour theory techniques and a range of playful artist materials, participants will hone their natural creativity, nourish self-expression, further develop motor skills, and create striking works of art. Led by Silvana Bruni.
6 weeks, Saturdays, 10-11am

Ages 6-12
Students will work with a wide variety of materials and printmaking processes to make beautiful impressions. Techniques covered will include carving, building relief plates, stamping with found objects, and working a manual printing press. A whole world of options in this endlessly playful medium will open up and expand the imagination. The Elements & Principles of Design will be woven into the instruction, building artistic skills, nourishing creativity and resulting in creating highly expressive works of art. Led by Silvana Bruni.

Ages 6-12
Take your painting to new levels in this class full of colourful possibilities. Combining acrylic, watercolour and tempera paints with techniques including - wax resist, masking and bleeding colours – participants will explore ways of building layers, colour and texture resulting in amazing painted compositions! Led by Diana Erb.

Ages 12 – 14
Join creative, like-minded folks in this one of a kind art making class. Tackle new projects each week – from duct tape sculptures to more traditional processes such as drawing, painting & printmaking – enjoy the freedom to express your artistic side in Studio 54 (conveniently located at Gallery Stratford, 54 Romeo Street). Led by Melissa Quinn.
