Children's Classes for Ages 2-14

Thank you for your interest in Gallery Stratford education programs.  Here are answers to frequently-asked questions: All programs, unless otherwise stated,  require pre-registration and payment.  Payment may be made using online registration, by phone (with Visa, Mastercard), or in person at the Gallery (credit card, cheque, debit or cash).  The Gallery cannot hold a spot in a class without payment.  Participants are responsible for knowing the schedule of their registered class.  Access to the Gallery and the classroom will be provided 10 minutes prior to the start of each session. Class sizes are set to ensure an optimal experience for each participant.  For sold out programs, you may wish to contact the Education Officer to be added to a waiting list, or to the Gallery email list for future classes.

Children's Classes

  • Ages 6-10

    Taught by Art Educator Alishia Ellis, this course will introduce students to the fundamentals of drawing. Learn to render realistically using line, tone, shade, negative and positive space, space and depth, and perspective. The perfect course for those interested in gaining some basic drawing skills, and gaining confidence in their drawing.

    6 Weeks:
    Mondays, September 18 – October 30 (No Class on Monday October 9th) | 5:00 – 6:30pm

  • Ages 8-12

    This class is perfect for the budding comedian in the family or your creative child who wants to explore art and theatre games but doesn't know where to start. Led by professional actor and Educator  Stacy Smith.

  • Ages 6-12

    Enjoy a fun filled day of various art media and techniques!
